Dr. Hans Dieter Nagel, medical physicist (business founder and owner)
After my many years of working as a clinical scientist for one of the leading manufacturers of medical imaging equipment, I have the pleasure of also offering my expertise to other interested parties through my company newly founded in 2009.
- Previous working areas: X-ray technology, CT, radiation physics, radiation protection, image quality, research cooperation with radiological university departments, application-oriented consulting
- Collaboration in various German and international committees (e.g. ZVEI, DIN-NAR, AK RöV, BfS, BÄK, IEC, ICRP)
- Co-founder of the German ‘Concerted Action Dose Reduction in CT’ in 1998
- Co-organizer of three nation-wide surveys on CT practice in Germany
- Editor of the textbook ‘Radiation Exposure in Computed Tomography'
- Editor of the textbook ‘Guideline for Optimization of the Radiation Exposure of CT Examinations’
- Contributor to ICRP report 102 ‘Managing Patient Dose in Multi-Detector Computed Tomography (MDCT)'
- Consultant for the quality assurance committee of the Hamburg Physicians’ Chamber
- Extensive activities as lecturer in radiological training events and congresses
- Co-organizer of the technology seminar for radiologists on behalf of the German Roentgen Society
